This month, the Employee Spotlight is shining on Christian Feagans. Christian joined the MEC Division at the beginning of the year. Read more about her in the Q&A below, and check out the photo of Christian and her adorable dog, Lowry, on a recent trip to New Mexico.

Q: What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever gotten and/or given to someone?
A: I don’t know if it was advice as much as it was me being told that I had the wrong answer to a question, but someone once told me that “ASAP isn’t a thing.” ASAP has since been removed from my vocabulary which has helped me to both set and meet deadlines and expectations.

Q: What is one thing that may surprise your coworkers about you?
A: I absolutely love game shows! It can be an old time rerun on Game Show Network, or it can be a current reality type game show. I love them all!

Q: Tell us about a project at work that was interesting/challenging/exciting.
A: I’m still too new to have many options… but as hectic as proposals can be sometimes, I actually like the fast paced nature and having a hard deadline on when things are due.

Q: If you weren’t in this line of work, what would you be doing instead?
A: I would probably work for a non-profit in some capacity.

Q: If you could meet any famous person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
A: I would go back in time and meet my grandparents at my age. I hear the stories and have seen the pictures, but I think it would be cool to actually see what they were like.

Q: If you could go on a vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: Maybe New Zealand.

Q: What’s your superpower? Real or imagined.
A: The ability to manipulate gravitational fields.

Q: Tell us about a favorite hobby/blog/podcast/TV show/pet/ice cream flavor.
A: Cookies and cream!

Q: What do you enjoy most about working at ERRG?
A: Each day looks a little different and when a surprise is thrown my way, I know that there are always people I can call on to help problem solve.
